Adam Lee is a Scottish clarinettist and composer who has gained a reputation as a versatile and highly skilled musician. He is an experienced soloist and chamber musician, performing in recitals, competitions and festivals across the U.K. As a freelance orchestral musician, he has worked with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Adam is an advocate for educational outreach work and is a passionate teacher who has taught and taken workshops with people of all ages and all abilities. He strongly believes that music should be accessible to all, and is passionate about working with diverse audiences and in a wide range of different settings, from nurseries to secondary schools and concert halls to care homes.
He is thankful for support from The Robertson Trust and Dewar Arts Awards, who support the brightest and best of Scotland’s young artistic talent. In April 2021 he was the recipient of a Harrison Award, supported by Help Musicians.
